Beacon Capital Buys Tampa’s SunTrust Building for $82M
One of the most recognizable buildings on Florida’s Gulf Coast has recently traded for a reported $82 million. According to the St. Petersburg Times, the 36-story SunTrust Financial Center sold for more than $30 million less than it went for back in 2007, when Charter Hall Office REIT and Stiles Corp. purchased it for $114 million.
AmeriLife Moves to New HQ at 2650 McCormick Drive
Senior-focused life and health insurance marketing organization AmeriLife has marked one of the largest corporate moves this year in the Tampa Bay region by signing a new lease for the entire three-story complex formerly known as Prestige Place II. Following the signing of AmeriLife as sole tenant, the complex at 2650 McCormick Drive will be renamed AmeriLife Place.
