Olymbec Pays $23M for 1.8M SF Industrial Park
Olymbec USA, part of Canadian commercial and residential real estate owner and manager Olymbec, has announced the acquisition of Bellbrook, a 1.8 million square-foot industrial park located at the intersection of Brooks Road and I-55, next to the Olymbec-owned Space Center Industrial Portfolio, within the heart of the Memphis’ distribution hub.
Liberty Sells Office, Industrial, Flex Properties Across States
Liberty Property Trust announced it has entered into an agreement to sell 97 properties totaling 6.6 million square feet of space and 159 acres of land for approximately $705 million. The deal includes the company’s Jacksonville holdings, a portfolio of 32 properties that total more than 2.1 million square feet.

State Signs 30-Year Lease for Belle Isle
Detroit’s historic Belle Isle, a 982-acre island park in the Detroit River, will be taken over by the state as the Michigan Emergency Loan Board approved a 30-year lease with two 15-year renewals with the city in a deal that would save Detroit up to $6 million in annual maintenance costs. As such Belle Isle will become Michigan’s 102nd state park.
