Starwood Capital to Launch 1st Opportunity Zone Project
The private investment giant is joining developer AB Capstone to build the mixed-use development in the South Bronx. Anchored by a charter school, the 147,000-square-foot project is Starwood Capital’s first deal in the company’s new Opportunity Zone investment program.

AB Capstone will use the new mortgage to pay off existing debt, as well as for the asset’s final lease-up and stabilization.
