StepStone Hospitality Adds DC Hilton to Management Portfolio
The Washington-area property becomes the company’s fifth Hilton family branded hotel.

Washington—StepStone Hospitality announced the expansion of its management portfolio to include the 301-key Hilton Washington in North Gaithersburg, Md. The company’s third-party management portfolio now counts 17 hotels, including five Hilton family branded hotels.
The fitness equipment, guestroom carpet and lobby and lounge furniture will all be upgraded. Guestroom access will be changed to digital key.
The property is located along the hi-tech corridor of Interstate 270, outside of Washington. Hilton Washington is situated within easy reach from businesses, as well as from local attractions such as the Smithsonian Museums, the White House and National Mall, and entertainment options in the greater Washington area.
Hotel guest room amenities include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and MP3 players. Property amenities include an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, complimentary business center, as well as 16,500 square feet of meeting and events space. Dining options include Rook’s Corner Restaurant, an American-style seafood and steakhouse, and a more casual lobby bar.
