St. John Properties Names New Director of Development

St. John Properties has appointed Danny Severn as its newest director of development, shortly after naming Lori Rice as its new CFO. In his new role, Severn will oversee all the day-to-day construction operations and direct entitlement efforts for ground-up construction activities in the Virginia and Central Maryland regions.

Severn joined the company in 2009 and previously served as its director of leasing. He is a member of NAIOP Virginia and The Rotary Club of Frederick, as well as a board member of the Mental Health Association of Frederick. He also holds a B.A. in political science from York College of Pennsylvania and an M.S. from the Edward St. John Real Estate Program at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.

“Danny has gained a thorough understanding of the company, our projects, and our markets during the past nine years and we have tremendous confidence in his abilities to assume expanded responsibilities,” Matthew Holbrook, St. John Properties regional partner, said in a prepared statement.
