Skanska Plans $51M Office Development in Poland
The first phase of the Brama Miasta complex in Lodz, Poland, will include the development of a 15-story building with 296,000 square feet of office space and two levels of underground parking.

After shelling out $49 million on Spark 2, the second phase of an office development in Warsaw, Poland, Skanska is heading back to Lodz, the country’s third largest city. The company plans to build its third office development in the city, the Brama Miasta complex, a $51 million investment.
Phase one of the project is scheduled to begin this month and to be completed in the second quarter of 2019. Designed by Medusa Group, The building will feature 15 stories, 296,000 square feet of office space and two levels of underground parking. Phase two will result in a second building, which may belong to a different investor.
The two office towers will offer some 430,000 square feet of office space available for leasing and be located close to the Łódź Fabryczna railway station. The ground floor will serve as retail space. Upon completion, the facility is expected to receive LEED Gold certification and another national recognition, a “building without barriers” certificate, for its accessible design.
