Skanska Europe shelled out $49 million for Spark 2, the second phase of an office development in downtown Warsaw, Poland. The project starts this month and is slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2019.
Upon completion, the 10-story office building will offer a total leasable area of around 18,000 square feet and two levels of underground parking. Spark 2’s design and amenities will be tailored to accommodate people with disabilities. The building is expected to receive a WELL certification for its accessible design as well as a LEED Platinum certification for its sustainable development strategy.
The entire office complex will encompass more than 70,000 square feet once the third building, a 427-feet tower, will be finalized. Spark adds to Skanska‘s growing office portfolio in Poland, which also includes Green2 Day, Generation Park and Maraton buildings, among others.
