Interpublic Group’s MullenLowe and Mediahub have signed a 114,620-square-foot lease at Two Drydock, Skanska’s 230,000-square-foot, Class A office building underway in Boston. The creative, PR and media agency will relocate its U.S. headquarters from 40 Broad St. in July 2020. Meanwhile, Elkus Manfredi Architects will configure the agency’s future space. Skanska broke ground on Two Drydock in June 2018 and delivery is slated for the first quarter of 2020.

Located at 2 Drydock Ave. in Boston’s Seaport District, the development site provides easy access to Interstate 90 and is less than 2 miles east of Interstate 93. South Station Train Terminal is a mile from the property and Boston Logan International Airport is 3 miles north.

Once completed, the 13-story Two Drydock will feature 9,000 square feet of retail space. Designed by SGA to obtain LEED Gold and Fitwel certifications, the building will feature an 8,000-square-foot rooftop terrace with a 5,500-square-foot interior amenity space, which is set to encompass a fitness center, conference center and lounge. Other planned amenities include bike storage and 150 above-ground parking spaces.

Skanska has several projects in the metro’s Seaport District. One of the most easily recognizable development is the company’s 480,000-square-foot structure, the first and only LEED Platinum elliptical tower in the city. The Class A office building is home to PTC and Alexion.
