Second Homewood Suites by Hilton Opens in Washington, D.C.
The 160-key property is located just one mile away from Hilton’s other Homewood D.C. asset, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Downtown.

Washington—Homewood Suites by Hilton recently announced the opening of its second property in the Capital, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Convention Center.
Bringing 160 new suites to the Homewood brand, the property is located at 465 New York Ave., with easy access to nearby Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Mount Vernon Square Metro Station. Other conveniently reachable destinations include Union Station, Verizon Center, National Mall, Smithsonian museums and Chinatown. Situated very close to I-395, the hotel also offers good connections for both Maryland and Virginia destinations.
“Our nation’s capital has seen a consistent increase in visitors over the past five years… Travelers continue to visit D.C. for business conventions or leisurely exploring the area’s historical attractions each year. Introducing Homewood Suites to this location will provide visitors upscale, comfortable accommodations and tremendous value whether for short or extended stays,” said Adrian Kurre, global head of Homewood Suites, in a prepared statement.
The new D.C. hotel offers studio and one-bedroom accommodations. Amenities include a business center, on-site convenience store, fitness room, complimentary full-hot breakfast, grocery shopping service and on-site coin laundry.
Hilton’s other Homewood D.C. asset, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Downtown, is situated at 1475 Massachusetts Ave., one mile away from the newly opened property.
