Rockbrige Completes Facelift of Raleigh Marriott
The extensive restoration of the hotel doubled the property's meeting space and upgraded numerous amenities.

Raleigh, N.C.—The Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley recently completed a property-wide renovation. The remodeling process and the development were led by the owner, Rockbridge. The property will be managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises.
Upgrades to the property included updated amenities such as keyless entry, 47-inch smart TVs, upgradeable Wi-Fi, a walk-in shower, coffee/tea maker and refrigerator in each guestroom. The hotel now has fully renovated public spaces, a redesigned BRAISE restaurant and bar, a new outdoor pool and a fitness center. Lobby renovations were incorporated within the Marriott Greatroom concept, a global brand design and identity program for Marriott hotels worldwide. The expanded terrace overlooks the outdoor heated pool and is now equipped with heaters and a fireplace. Additionally, a ballroom was added, doubling meeting space tomore than 21,000 square feet. All meeting areas have new furnishings, carpets, wall coverings and the latest in technology.
“Our extensive renovation touched every aspect of this hotel. The newly repositioned property will once again be a leader in the Raleigh market,” said Jim Merkel, CEO at Rockbridge, in a prepared statement.
Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley is located directly across from Crabtree Valley Mall and offers a complimentary daily shuttle to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. PNC Arena, home of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, is about 5 miles away. The hotel also offers easy access to downtown restaurants, museums, golf centers and the North Carolina State University.
