RKF has arranged a 1,542-square-foot lease with KIKO MILANO—an Italian professional cosmetics brand—and a 4,629-square-foot lease with LINE FRIENDS—the mobile messenger characters brand at the 1515 Broadway office tower. The retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services firm has fully leased the ground-floor retail opportunity, which is located in New York City’s Times Square. Steven Soutendijk of Cushman & Wakefield represented LINE FRIENDS, while Fritz Kemerling and Joe Mastromonaco of The Dartmouth Co. represented KIKO MILANO.
Major tenants
Located at 1515 Broadway, within Manhattan’s famed Broadway-anchored Theater District and just steps from 14 subway lines, Penn Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the 54-story office tower is situated just steps away from major transit hubs. Designed by Ely Kahn & Jacobs, 1515 Broadway features new state-of-the-art LED sigs and is home to media giant Viacom, PlayStation Theater and the Minskoff Theatre. Oakley, Swatch, Junior’s, Hard Rock Café, Tissot and Skechers are among other retailers situated in the area.
“1515 Broadway was the only column-free, jewel-box opportunity in this highly desirable retail corridor, making it the perfect fit for KIKO MILANO’s first street store in New York City and for LINE FRIENDS’ first American flagship store,” Ariel Schuster, said in a statement. “Both brands will no doubt attract the crowds of residents, workers and tourists strolling Times Square.”
RKF Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster, Managing Director Ross Berkowitz, Associate Jason Wecker and Associate Jordyn Comras represented the landlord SL Green Realty Corp., in both transactions.
