ReadyTalk will move from 1598 Wynkoop St. to 1900 Sixteenth St. at the end of the month, reports The Denver Post. The Denver-based web and audio-conferencing company is moving in order to accommodate 60 new employees and will occupy two floors in a new high-rise close to the 16th Street Mall.

Dan King, founder and CEO of ReadyTalk, said Colorado is continuing to grow as a national tech hub, and he believes that Lower Downtown is the heart of it—thus motivating the choice for the company to remain in LoDo. With a steady growth from 80 employees back in 2009 to 140 today, the company plans to maintain the momentum and reach 200 by 2013.

Another important factor in choosing 1900 Sixteenth Street was the LEED certification of the building, in addition to other amenities. Investors in the project located on the 16th Street Mall at Market Street include Walter Isenberg’s Sage Hospitality, Elevation Group and Integrated Properties.

The initial project called for a 180-room W Hotel with 56 condominiums on top, a design that was approved by the board. In the meantime, the development group decided to go with a 10-story building that includes office space from the second to sixth floors and 47 apartments on floors seven through 10.

The architect of the project, Gensler, has been asked by the LoDo design board to make several changes to the building, which includes breaking up the mass of the façade along Market Street, integrating the architecture of the two portions of the project and addressing certain elements that violate height limitations.
