Phoenix—The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort has announced the completion of an anticipated $8.5 million remodeling of 544 of the facility’s 584 two-room standard suites, as reported by the Phoenix Business Journal. The multi-million dollar project started this summer.

Located at 11111 N. Seventh St., the resort opened in 1983. The property’s comprehensive redesign plan falls in line with the brand’s strategy to stay relevant in the competitive destination market.

The extensive renovation included blending in architectural elements with texture, color, scale and a Spanish-Mediterranean influence, according to hotel representatives. Ron Simon, the company’s general manager, stated for the Phoenix Business Journal that this is not the first renovation project this facility underwent.

The resort features several meeting rooms and a business center, as well as a pool, tennis court and spa, among other amenities. In addition, the facility sits just 20 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix.

As tourism is of major importance to Arizona’s economy, the resort’s renovation is but one of the many redevelopment projects that have occurred throughout the Valley in recent years.
