New York Residence Takes the Top at 1501 Broadway
The real estate brokerage firm has been operating in the Times Square building for more than a decade.

New York—Residential and commercial real estate firm New York Residence Inc. has signed a long-term lease for several thousand square feet of office space at 1501 Broadway in Manhattan, President & Founder Thomas Guss announced this week.
One of the ten largest real estate brokerages in the city, the company will occupy the building’s top floor. Financial terms of the lease deal have not been disclosed.
“Remaining in the hub of New York City further validates our priority to make New York properties widely accessible to clients around the globe,” Guss said. “Given the historical reemergence of Times Square coupled with the building’s prime location allows us to continue gaining international exposure in this dynamic market.”
Located in the heart of Times Square, 1501 Broadway was once home to the iconic Paramount Pictures and has been designated a New York City Landmark. The 33-story building was the tallest building in Times Square upon completion in 1927, and features 686,603 square feet of space, according to data from Yardi Matrix. New York Residence has been operating at the site for more than 11 years.
