NAI Hiffman Secures Anchor Tenant for Chicago Retail Center
Living Fresh Market leased approximately 70,000 square feet at Forest Park Plaza in Forest Park, Ill., bringing the shopping center to a 95 percent occupancy.

NAI Hiffman has secured a new tenant for Forest Park Plaza, a retail center in Forest Park, Ill., owned by a subsidiary of Living Word Christian Center. Local grocer Living Fresh Market will anchor the eastern wing of the mall, replacing Ultra Foods, which closed last year. The business has closed an agreement for 70,211 square feet and invested more than $2.5 million in upgrading the space. In return, it will receive several reimbursements from the Village of Forest Park over the next seven years.
Forest Park Plaza, one of the several Chicago commercial properties leased by NAI Hiffman, is located at 7520 W. Roosevelt Road, approximately 10 miles from downtown Chicago. Following the new contract with Living Fresh Market, the property will be 95 percent occupied, with the tenant roster also including Kmart, Planet Fitness, Ashley Stewart and Ladies & Gentlemen, among other businesses.
The NAI Hiffman Retail team which represented the landlord in the transaction was made up of Senior Sales Associate Dan Hiffman and Retail Leasing Representative Jana Foreman.
