“The response to our first store has been incredible and there’s tremendous opportunity to expand in the Nashville market,” Robert Ward said in prepared remarks. “The new locations all offer high-traffic areas that are well suited for our restaurants.”

Slated to open on September 14, the next Zaxby is going to be located at 5228 Nolensville Road, in a 2,900-square-foot building that is currently under construction.

The second of the new locations will be at 471 Old Hickory Blvd., in a 3,000-square-foot former Jack in the Box building. The fast-casual chicken restaurant is bound to open by January 2016.

Zaxby’s third new restaurant will be located at 2241 Murfreesboro Road in the former Razz building. Robert Ward is partnering with Chaz Tippins to operate this franchise location.

Memphis-based Dimension Construction will be the general contractor for the three new Zaxby’s restaurants.

Zaxby’s was founded back in 1990 and has over 660 locations in 16 states, primarily in the south. The fast-casual chicken restaurant chain focuses on fried chicken tenders, chicken wings and boneless wings. It also serves salads, appetizers and milkshakes.
