Monday Properties Taps New SVP

Former Gramercy Property Trust Senior Vice President Evan Dreilinger will bring more than 18 years of varied real estate experience to the company.

Monday Properties has hired Evan Dreilinger as its senior vice president & general counsel. In his new role, he will be in charge of the firm’s legal matters.

His expertise in legal counsel and extensive experience in real estate transactions and asset management will help strengthen Monday’s ability to expand nationally,” Monday Properties Managing Partner Robert Klein said in a prepared statement. 

Varied real estate experience

Dreilinger brings more than 18 years of real estate experience to his role, and has completed more than $10 billion in real estate transactions through his career, including representing Boston Properties in its record-setting acquisition of the General Motors Building.

Prior to joining Monday Properties, he served as senior vice president & associate general counsel at Gramercy Property Trust. His responsibilities included providing legal counsel to the company’s investments, asset management, operations and project management teams in all matters of acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development/build to suit, finance, loan compliance and large corporate-tenant relations for the company, its joint venture partners and third-party asset management clients. He also worked as an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP between 2007 and 2009 and Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP from 1999 to 2007.

The newly appointed executive has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and his Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
