Meridian has hired Linda Shoemaker-Haskins as its vice president of asset management for the company’s medical and office real estate portfolio in Northern California. In addition to leading Meridian’s property management team, in her new role Shoemaker-Haskins will also be responsible for overseeing capital and tenant improvements, managing the execution of business plans for the company’s properties and supporting acquisitions and dispositions.

Previously a senior property manager with Cranbrook Group Inc., Shoemaker-Haskins possesses nearly 20 years of property management experience. In her previous position, she was responsible for managing a portfolio of almost one million square feet of office space across three counties.

“Execution is critical to Meridian’s success and we are extremely pleased to have found such a great leader, coach and player to expand the firm’s capabilities. Linda shares our core values and has already jumped in with both feet,” said John Pollock, CEO of Meridian, in a prepared statement.

In 2017, Meridian expanded its footprint in Northern California by more than 400,000 square feet, acquiring a number of properties including a LEED-certified office building in San Mateo County for $29 million
