MCR Opens $21M Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale

The 112-key Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Central features studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. The hotel is owned and operated by MCR.

MCR opened its Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Central in Pompano Beach, Fla. The $21 million extended-stay hotel is owned and operated by MCR. The company is the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the country and has invested in and developed 94 hotel properties with over 10,000 rooms in 24 states, under 10 brands.

“The South Florida market continues to benefit from very strong year-round business and leisure travel, and our brand new hotel is in prime position to benefit from this trend given its state-of-the-art amenities, competitive prices and convenient location,” said Linda Markert, general manager of Residence Inn Pompano Beach Central, in prepared remarks.

Ideal Location

Located at 2880 Center Port Circle in the Center Port Business Park, the 112-key hotel features studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens, dry cleaning services, business library, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour food and beverage market, outdoor swimming pool, meeting space and complimentary breakfast.

“This property represents the first ground-up Marriott hotel to open in northern Broward County in 15 years,” said Tyler Morse, CEO & managing partner of MCR, in prepared remarks. “We appreciate the support Marriott has provided MCR throughout the development.

The hotel is situated between the Sample Road and Copans Road exits of Interstate 95. Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Central offers close access to Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale beaches, the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the Brightline train service, Tri-Rail, Pompano Beach Innovation District and Port Everglades Cruise Port.
