Marriott Opens 5th US Moxy Hotel

Graves Hospitality owns the Minneapolis project, which marks Marriott's 22nd Moxy hotel worldwide and the second built from the ground up in the U.S.

Marriott International has opened Moxy Minneapolis Uptown, a 125-key hotel in Minneapolis. Graves Hospitality owns the property, while Collage Architects and Yellow Dog Studios designed it.

Located at 1121 W. Lake St. in the heart of Uptown, the six-story building is situated on the corner of Lake Street and Emerson Avenue. The new hotel offers convenient access to various bike paths, restaurants and entertainment venues, such as Minneapolis Institute of Art, Mall of America, U.S. Bank Stadium and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is approximately 10 miles away.

The pet-friendly hotel features a two-bedroom suite with an attached Green Room for up to 40 people on the sixth floor. The property includes 567 square feet of meeting space and common amenities such as:

  • lounge with shuffleboard or foosball
  • 24/7 grab-and-go cooler
  • fitness center
  • business center
  • meeting room
  • Wi-Fi

Moxy Minneapolis Uptown marks the 22nd Moxy hotel to open globally, the fifth in the U.S. and the second built from the ground up in the U.S. Back in November 2017, Marriott opened Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho, the lifestyle brand’s first property in Japan.
