Karr Self Storage, in the company’s Fort Worth office, brokered the sale of a two-building self storage property comprising 578 units in Texarkana, Texas.

The Karr Self Storage group of Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Payless Storage, a two-building, 87,600-square-foot self storage facility in Texarkana, Texas. The brokerage team worked on behalf of the seller, a Texarkana-based limited liability company, and the buyer, a private investor located in New York City.
Situated on 15 acres at 927 N. Robinson Road, the 587-unit facility is near Freeway 67 and Interstate 369, and is approximately 2 miles from downtown Texarkana. Features of the storage property include climate-control, computerized gates with coded access, security lights and drive-up access. Additional services include truck and trailer rental options, on-site management, RV & boat storage, as well as boxes, moving supplies and locks.
The brokerage team included Director Brandon Karr and Senior Associate Danny Cunningham at Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Worth office. In an interview with Commercial Property Executive, Cunningham commented on the Texas self storage market and where the sector might be heading in the next several years.
