At a time when most developers feel the need to lower prices in order to sell units, the developer of Ovation—JMC Communities—can pride itself on the achievement of selling all but four of the 45 luxurious units at the original 2006 asking price.

Completed in 2009, Ovation is a luxury condominium property in downtown St.Petersburg. With only two residences per floor (with penthouses having entire floors) and three city residences, the tower is 27-stories tall. Its location at the corner of Beach Drive and Second Avenue North is set in the heart of downtown, with superb water views and within walking distance of restaurants, marinas, museums, shops, colleges, parks and more. Developed by JMC Communities, the tower houses residences ranging in size from 2,374 to 5,329 square feet of luxurious living space. The floor plans of residences A and B offer three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms with 4,216 square feet of generous living space. Four spacious terraces showcase stunning views of the bay and the city performing below.

The 27-story Ovation features a two-story gallery-style lobby decorated with original, Ovation-commissioned art and plush lounge seating, a landscaped pool and cabana deck, several resident clubrooms and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Residents also enjoy private elevator entries, 140 linear feet of glass in residences A and B, tinted laminated glass windows with sliding doors, and two reserved parking spaces for each residence (and private garages for the penthouses).

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the six penthouse apartments have all been sold, and the most expensive called for a sale price of $4.6 million. The most recent condo sale was closed on Jan. 12 for $2.2 million.
