Life Time Opens Atlanta Coworking Space

Life Time Inc. has opened Life Time Buckhead at Phipps Plaza, a 127,000-square-foot athletic country club, beach club and coworking space in Atlanta. The location spans five stories at Simon Property Group‘s 553,480-square-foot, recently redeveloped Phipps Plaza.

Life Time Work comprises 23,000 square feet of coworking space and a mix of private offices, dedicated desks, lounge workspaces and conference rooms, along with secure storage, lockable file cabinets and private phone rooms. Amenities at the location include a community kitchen, access to the Life Time Athletic club and childcare.

Located at 3476 Peachtree Road NE, the property is within half a mile of U.S. State Route 400, connecting it to Atlanta city center, which is some 8 miles south of the building. The newly opened athletic club includes yoga, Pilates and cycle studios, as well as saunas, rooftop patios, a swimming pool, a spa, a cafe and a kids academy.

Life Time Buckhead at Phipps Plaza marks the company’s seventh location in Atlanta and second coworking space in the area, after its health club and flex office space in Sandy Springs, Ga. Life Time is not the only company that recently expanded its flex office footprint in the metro. Last month, WeWork has opened WeWork The Interlock, a 39,000-square-foot coworking space in West Midtown Atlanta, offering private suites, meeting rooms and office spaces.
