American Land Ventures has completed an 18-story residential building in Downtown Fort Lauderdale along the New River.

Located at 510 SE 5th Avenue, the 268,237 square-foot Vu New River Residences is LEED certified to the Silver level by the U.S. Green Building Council. The asset was designed by ADD Inc. and Stantec. The development marks the last phase of American Land Ventures’ New River Village development. It contains a total of 209 one-, two- and three-bedroom rental units, a 2,245 square-foot restaurant on the ground floor, and a rooftop amenity deck with a 360 degree view of the river and the city.

The location will provide tenants easy access to public transportation and local retail centers. Sustainable features include the use of low-emitting materials for all interior finishes, an efficient HVAC system, and a building-wide recycling program. Additionally, 35 percent of the building’s electricity comes from Green-e Energy, the nation’s leading independent certification and verification program for renewable energy.
