Law Firm to Move to New Dallas Office

Renaissance Tower in Dallas

Simon Greenstone Panatier PC has signed a 24,000-square-foot lease to occupy the 34th floor of Renaissance Tower in downtown Dallas. The law firm will relocate from One McKinney Plaza this August.

According to Yardi Matrix data, SMA Equities owns the 1.7 million-square-foot tower located at 1201 Elm St. The Great Neck, N.Y.-based company acquired the office high-rise in 2006 from Blackstone Group. Completed in 1974, the property underwent complete renovations in 1991. The 56-story building was approximately 80 percent occupied, as of February, and tenants include Ernst & Young, Dow Jones and Dallas County Tax Office. Renaissance Tower is situated near multiple bus stations, restaurants and hotels, such as Enchilada’s Restaurant, Grill & Vine and Homewood Suites by Hilton.

CBRE First Vice President Clay Gilbert, Senior Vice President Dennis Barnes and Vice President Ben Davis negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord. Mohr Partners Managing Principal Rob Pipkin and Managing Director Chris Leonard represented the tenant. Earlier this month, Gilbert and Barnes also arranged a 28,000-square-foot lease at PwC Tower at Park District, a 20-story Dallas office development

“With the resurgence of Main Street in Downtown Dallas, the tenant saw an opportunity to move to a space that offers the amenities and location they were looking for,” Gilbert said in a prepared statement.
