Larson Electronics, a Texas-based manufacturer of industrial lighting equipment and accessories, has released an explosion-proof wet/dry HEPA pneumatic vacuum with a two-gallon tank, dubbed the EPV-PN-2G-SS. This spark-free unit is suitable for use in flammable locations, including commercial and industrial work sites and wet locations.

The product features 80 psi of inlet pressure with a half inch ID hose and provides 100-170 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of vacuum flow, depending on inlet pressure. When the unit is in use, the vacuum offers a maximum of 250 inches water lift vacuum pressure, which is adjusted to 160 inches of water lift when a relief valve is in place, preventing tank collapse. Noise levels can reach 75 dBA at 90 psi inlet pressure.

The vacuum is made of durable stainless steel. Accessories include a tank, wand, Stage 2 intermediate HEPA filters and a backpack kit as an additional feature. The product is rated for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C and D, Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G.
