Goodyear, Ariz.—KPS Global, a privately-held, custom walk-in refrigerator manufacturer, installation and repair company, has held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newest facility in Goodyear, Ariz. The company is investing more than $2.3 million in the plant that opened in December 2016.

Located at 3801 S. Cotton Lane, the new facility is situated within the Goodyear Crossing Industrial Park. The new center represents a significant investment, supporting KPS Global’s innovations, efficiency and quality. With the right square footage, equipment and upgrades, the new state-of-the-art facility will serve the company’s customers and will have the capacity to meet future demand. The property features multiple manufacturing lines that create panels for the walk-in refrigeration equipment, in addition to some extra space that could be used to accommodate the company’s growth.

“Our Goodyear facility is a winner. It is strategically located in relationship to our other manufacturing locations and is laid out and equipped to facilitate our employees’ work, as they endeavor to surpass our newest quality and efficiency goals. Our customers are the real winners. When they purchase our walk-in products and especially when they have us address their entire project from the cooler or freezer to the refrigeration, doors, lighting, shelving and complete installation; they are getting the best products and installation in the business. In Goodyear, our employees got the facility they wanted and deserved. None of our employees have been displaced and we anticipate significantly increasing head count,” Jack Bowling, CEO of KPS Global, said in a prepared statement.
