JLL Hires New SVP in Austin

Ace Schlameus will be responsible for providing solutions for capital decisions, while also addressing inefficiencies and assist with setting rental rates.

JLL has hired Ace Schlameus as its new senior vice president in the company’s Austin, Texas, industrial team. In his new position, Schlameus will focus on improving the team’s overall quality of service by partnering with clients to develop long-term goals for industrial assets. Additionally, he will be responsible for providing solutions for capital decisions, while also addressing inefficiencies and assist with setting rental rates.

An industry veteran, Schlameus has more than 500 transactions under his belt, totaling more than seven million square feet. Prior to joining the company, he was the first vice president of CBRE’s Austin office. Between 2006 and 2013, Schlameus worked as HPI Real Estate Services & Investments’ institutional landlord representative.

“The depth of his experience adds a new dimension to our team, enhances our robust industrial platform and offers us a way to achieve an even greater level of service for our clients,” Rachel Coulter, who leads JLL’s agency leasing in Austin, said in a prepared statement.
