San Antonio—JLL has completed the acquisition of San Antonio-based company Travis Commercial Real Estate Services. The firm specializes in property leasing and management, multi-market corporate services, tenant representation, investment sales and facilities and construction management.
The transaction was first announced last month and is the latest on JLL’s list of recent acquisitions. Earlier this week, the Chicago-based company acquired Sage Capital Advisors, a Chevy Chase, Md.-based capital markets advisory firm.
Co-founded back in 1988 by Mark Krenger and Chuck King—with Jeff Miller joining the company in 1999—Travis Commercial fits into JLL’s strategy of expanding into the central and south Texas markets. Following the merger with JLL, Krenger and King will oversee agency leasing, while Miller will lead tenant representation and corporate markets solutions groups.
“The response from the market and our clients has been overwhelmingly positive since we announced the acquisition of Travis Commercial,” David Carroll, JLL market director for the South Central region, said in a statement. “There’s tremendous opportunity for growth in the South Texas region, and the newly combined businesses will accelerate our targeted expansion efforts.”
