James Campbell Co. Hires New CIO

Based in the San Francisco office, Arndt Nicklisch will be responsible for overseeing the company's investments and dispositions.

James Campbell Co. has hired Arndt Nicklisch as chief investment officer. He will be responsible for overseeing new investments and dispositions. 

Based in the company’s San Francisco office, Nicklisch brings acquisition and investment experience across all property types within major metros in the U.S. 

Before joining James Campbell Co., Nicklisch served as Amstar’s senior vice president, focusing on sourcing acquisition and development opportunities. Prior to that, he was one of American Eagle Capital Partners’ founding partners, where he advised international institutional investors of real estate investment throughout the U.S. Nicklisch also served as Colony Capital’s director of acquisitions, focused on the New York City Tri-State area and other major markets. He was also Boston Properties’ project manager in the development group, Transwestern Investment Cos.’ senior associate for acquisitions and Bovis Lend Lease’s assistant project manager.

Nicklisch has an engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School. 

James Campbell Co. has holdings and properties in Washington, D.C., Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Texas, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Utah and Wisconsin. In January, the firm sold its Central Park South and West office campus in Durham, N.C., to Lincoln Advisors for no less than $36.5 million.
