Jack Cohen Evaluates the Financial Market

Cohen Financial CEO Jack Cohen discussed the state of the real estate finance market with Suzann Silverman, drawing on more than 30 years of experience placing debt and equity and structuring financial solutions for commercial real estate transactions. Cohen Financial, also a leading loan servicer and special servicer, recently became part of Pillar Financial, which provides financing solutions for multi-family and healthcare properties.

Q. We’ve seen a steady upward trend in financing volume as the economy has recovered, but what’s your anticipation for this year?
A. I think more of the same. I really do. I think there’s a lot of capital in the system and more following. And I think this will continue to grow.
