Inland Securities Taps New VP

Sarita Vishakanta, Inland Securities

Oak Brook, Ill.—Inland Securities Corp. recently announced the appointment of Sarita Vishakanta as vice president, broker dealer relations. In this new position, Vishakanta will oversee the development and enhancement of strategic relationships with select broker dealers.

Most recently, Vishakanta worked as investment product management and marketing for AXA Advisors and as investment product manager for MetLife. In these positions, she was responsible for conducting effective marketing initiatives, driving product awareness, tracking sales trends and negotiating marketing support contracts. During her career, Vishakanta also held positions at Merrill Lynch, Gruntal & Co., now Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., and Capital Legacy. She received a bachelor of science degree in economics from Drexel University and also holds Series 7 and 24 securities licenses and a New Jersey real estate license.

Earlier this month, Inland Securities also hired two new senior vice presidents, Jeni Middaugh and Miguel Aguilar.
