The 135-key Hyatt Place Miami Airport-East, the newest Hyatt-branded hotel in Miami, has just celebrated its official opening. Its construction began in late 2011.

Located at 3549 Le Jeune Road, less than one mile from the entrance to Miami International Airport, the hotel is easily accessible for business and leisure travelers alike. It is also just more than five miles from the Port of Miami, the world’s largest cruise terminal, and within driving distance of major entertainment destinations such as AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat; Marlins Park, home of the Miami Marlins; downtown Miami; South Beach; the Design District; Wynwood; Dolphin Mall, the area’s largest outlet mall; and Brickell, home of the Brickell City Centre shopping complex expected to open in 2016. Guests traveling through the Miami International Airport will have access to the hotel’s shuttle service, which will be available 24/7.

The 135 guestrooms have separate spaces to sleep, work and play, as well as sectional sofa seating. Hyatt Place Miami Airport-East also offers guests free WiFi on property, a non-stop Gallery Menu & Market with freshly prepared meals, a free hot breakfast in the Gallery Kitchen, a Coffee to Cocktails Bar featuring specialty coffees and premium beers as well as wines and cocktails, more than 800 square feet of flexible meeting/function space, and a 24-hour fitness center with cardio equipment.
