ChicagoHyatt Hotels recently announced the launch of its new global brand, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, which will be represented by new and existing upper-upscale flagship hotels and luxury properties around the world.

Backing the new collection with the Hyatt name and its customer loyalty program, the hospitality giant is looking to cater to its high-end, high-value guests by providing service and amenities to match the iconic locations. In a video supporting the launch, Hyatt President & CEO Mark Hoplamazian emphasizes that The Unbound Collection strives to offer experiences beyond traditional hotel stays.

Hyatt presents The Unbound Collection as a portfolio of independently branded distinctive hotels united by the Hyatt standard of customer service and operational efficiency. Resorts, boutique hotels, historic buildings and contemporary destinations will bring added value to the brand by enriching a collection of diverse hospitality gems around the world.

“The Unbound Collection by Hyatt provides us with a myriad of opportunities to grow, not only in new markets, but also in places we know our guests want to go. The collection of properties will allow us to reach the modern traveler who seeks one-of-a-kind experiences…What really excites us about The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is that this portfolio provides rich social currency through story-worthy, shareable experiences that guests will take with them long after their stay,” added Hoplamazian in a prepared statement.

The first additions to the new collection are already here: The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas, the Carmelo Resort in Uruguay, and the Hôtel du Louvre in Paris are the first properties to represent the brand. The Coco Palms Resort in Kauai, Hawaii will reopen as part of The Unbound Collection after renovations that are slated for completion in spring 2018.
