Highland Resources Welcomes Two Men’s Retailers to Lamar Central

CBRE landed Campagna Napoli and Finley’s Barber Shop as tenants for Highland Resources’ mixed-use development.

Austin, TexasHighland Resources Inc. has booked two new retail tenants at its mixed-use development, Lamar Central. Campagna Napoli and Finley’s Barber Shop have signed leases for spaces on the ground floor of the four-story building.

“Campagna Napoli and Finley’s Barber Shop are ideal complements to the fellow retail tenants and the morning-to-night dining options at Lamar Central,” said David Bodenman, Highland Resources vice president. “We’re pleased that Lamar Central will now be a destination that has something for just about everyone.”

Luxury men’s store Campagna Napoli signed a five-year lease for nearly 1,800 square feet and will open in the fall of 2016. The location marks the firm’s first storefront and includes design by Austin’s Sixthriver Architects.

“We have targeted best-in-class products and services for both men and women for the Lamar Central development,” said Eric Dejernett, senior vice president at CBRE and Highland’s lease representative. “We are very excited to have Campagna Napoli join the lineup, offering a fresh take on menswear in a prime Central Austin location.”

“Lamar Central’s location in the heart of Austin and ample parking invite a convenient shopping experience,” added Campagna leasing representative Frank Seely. “Austin is a growing market for men’s fashion and lifestyle brands; I’m excited for Jason and the Campagna Napoli name to make its debut here.”

Locally-owned barbershop for men Finley’s Barber Shop signed a 10-year lease for more than 1,200 square feet and it too will open in the fall of 2016. Founded in 2008, the shop marks its seventh Austin location, along with two locations in the DFW Metroplex and plans for expansion to Houston and Denver.

“We are so pleased to further expand our presence to better serve our hometown of Austin with the addition of the Lamar Central location,” said Darren Peterson, CEO, Finley’s. “The amenities and the neighborhood setting at Lamar Central are just right for us; we can’t wait to open our doors to the community.”

“Finley’s is a great local success story and has been incredibly well received by the Austin community,” added John Heffington, CBRE vice president and Finley’s leasing representative. “The location at Lamar Central will only further establish its presence here.”

Additional tenants at Lamar Central include Kendra Scott Design, Regus, Westlake Dermatology, Pennybacker Capital, Academic Works, AEC and dining venues Snooze Eatery and Chameleon Hospitality.
