Atlanta—Dallas-based Falcon Realty Advisors teamed up with Nashville-based Hattie B’s Hot Chicken to arrange the lease for the franchise’s first Atlanta location. The 2,800-square-foot lease destination is slated for opening by late 2017 at 299 Moreland Ave.

“Expanding to Atlanta was an easy decision as Hattie B’s has not only made waves among the communities it currently resides in, but among renowned industry food festivals across the nation, including the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival. Hattie B’s requires a space that will align with its fun, high-energy concept and as the franchise’s exclusive representative in its expansion, Falcon will ensure each location reflects that unique quality,” Cal Marsh, director of National Restaurant Accounts with Falcon’s Restaurant & Entertainment Group, said in prepared remarks.

Marsh has been selected as Hattie B’s exclusive representative for the company’s regional growth. In this role, he advised on the Moreland Avenue location because of the productive neighborhood and convenient access provided by the large public lot located next to it. The new property will provide 150 outdoor and indoor seats on a partially covered patio as well as an outdoor games area.

“The minute we saw the building on Moreland, we knew it was the right spot for Hattie B’s. From the architecture and design, to the energy in the neighborhood, it just felt like the place for us in Atlanta,” Co-owner & Co-operator of Hattie B’s Nick Bishop, said in a prepared statement.

Marsh teamed up with Ed Lee of Capital Properties Group in order to negotiate the leasing deal with Knight Commercial Real Estate.
