Hard Rock to Introduce Brand to Atlanta in 2018

Hotel heavyweight Hard Rock International announced Monday its plans to open the 220-room Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta in spring 2018, hoping to leave its mark on the bustling city.

Set to be built near the future Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home to the Atlanta Falcons, Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will be developed along with Bolton Atlanta, LP as part of the Castelberry Park area development. The hotel will feature amenities such as a heated outdoor swimming pool and rooftop dining and cocktails in the city’s rapidly growing arts district.

“The new Hard Rock Hotel in Castleberry Hill will offer a new, best-in-class option for the millions of people visiting Atlanta each year,” said Kasim Reed, Mayor of Atlanta, in a prepared statement. “In addition to serving tourists and visitors, this new hotel will serve as a powerful economic anchor, bringing new jobs and further investment to our downtown corridor and stadium neighborhoods.

Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta will showcase the brand’s exclusive features such as music memorabilia adorning the hotel walls, collectible music-related merchandise and music-infused spa treatments at the Rock Spa, while incorporating the Castleberry Hill neighborhood’s attributes with a modern take on the Hard Rock Cafe.

“The area’s energetic atmosphere and history of embracing artistic endeavors aligns well with the Hard Rock Hotel product and we’re sure the upcoming property will quickly become the go-to entertainment and leisure destination,” said Frank Chen, general manager of Bolton Atlanta, LP.

The hotel will also include 10,660 square feet of ballroom and banquet facility space for those needing meeting or event space.

The upcoming destination is likely to catch Atlanta visitors’ eyes with its location on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, within walking distance of the region’s largest concentration of sporting and entertainment venues and the fourth largest convention center in the United States.
