Great Hearts to Open New Academy in Phoenix Area

Great Hearts has purchased a office/warehouse property in North Scottsdale, Ariz., with plans to open a new campus for the 2018-2019 school year.

Non-profit charter school, Great Hearts Academies, has purchased a 143,892-square-foot office and warehouse space in North Scottsdale, Ariz., for $16.3 million. Great Hearts plans to turn the property into a new campus for children from kindergarten to fifth-grade, with plans to open for the 2018-2019 school year.

The property comprises 43,500 square feet of office space and a separate, 100,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility, occupying 16 acres. It is located at 16648 N. 94th St., in Scottsdale, Ariz. The warehouse part features 40- by 40-foot column spacing and a 30-foot clear ceiling height. It also has a dock leveler and bumper, as well as two grade-level and 10 dock-high loading doors. 

Lee & Associates Arizona represented the seller, while Colliers International negotiated on behalf of Great Hearts.

New Academy

Loop 101 and Bell Road Interchange are very close to the property, providing access around the metro area. The North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, featuring shops and restaurants, is about five minutes from the location. Scottsdale Airport is 15 minutes away, while Phoenix’s Central City is 40 minutes away.
