Grandbridge Secures $65M Hotel Refi

The permanent, fixed-rate loan was funded through one of Groundbridge’s insurance company correspondents. The hotel is in close proximity to the Boulder Municipal Airport.

Grandbridge Real Estate Capital arranged a $65 million first mortgage loan for the St. Julien Hotel and Spa, a 201-key hotel in Boulder, Colo. John Stewart, Grandbridge Rockies Region/Denver’s office manager originated the loan. One of Groundbridge’s insurance company correspondents funded the fixed-rate, permanent loan.

Located at 900 Walnut St., St. Julien Hotel and Spa is in close proximity to various shopping, dining and entertainment venues such as Pearl Street Mall, Settler’s Park, The Cheesecake Factory, Boulder High School, Macky Auditorium Concert Hall and Community Plaza Shopping Center. Additionally, Boulder Municipal Airport is a 10-minute drive away. 

The hotel offers a 10,000-square-foot spa including 12 treatment rooms, a full-service salon, separate men’s and women’s locker rooms, a retail boutique and an inner relaxation lounge. Common area amenities include:

  • shuttle service
  • business center
  • in-room safe

Back in May, the company secured a $9 million first mortgage loan for a 221,000-square-foot industrial building in Roger, Minn.
