All of our Fastest-Growing Commercial Property Management Companies of 2021 are third-party managers with diverse portfolios.

Each of the 10 firms operates office and retail, with nine managing industrial assets as well. Avison Young once again landed the top spot on our list, following impressive growth from 210 million square feet in 2018 to 337 million square feet last year. In second place, Stream Realty Partners’ portfolio grew at a similar pace, up more than 30 percent annually to 204 million square feet at the end of 2020. Growth wasn’t limited to those on our list, however: More than 90 percent of respondents to our comprehensive property management ranking survey reported growth in the past two years. 

Methodology

The Fastest-Growing Commercial Property Management Companies of 2021 ranking utilized self-reported data for all firms. The ranking was calculated based on the average annual portfolio growth for each management company with at least 20 million square feet under management at the end of 2020. All data was originally submitted for our Top 30 Commercial Property Management Companies of 2021 ranking.
