Equity Office Appoints New SVP in the Big Apple
Prior to joining the Blackstone affiliate, Simon Wasserberger held positions with L&L Holding, CBRE and Tishman Speyer.

New York—Blackstone-owned U.S. office company Equity Office has announced the appointment of Simon Wasserberger as senior vice president & portfolio director. Wasserberger is based in New York City, where he oversees local operations and leads value creation efforts for the firm’s New York City portfolio.
“We’re thrilled that Simon has joined our team,” Eli Khouri, president & CEO of Equity Office, said in a statement. “He is an experienced real estate executive who has already provided direction for the team and significantly enhanced our management capabilities in the ever-evolving New York Office.”
Prior to joining Equity Office, Wasserberger served as managing director at L&L Holding Co. in New York, where he led several successful redevelopment projects, including 390 Madison Ave. in Midtown Manhattan, 150 Fifth Ave. in the Flatiron District and 222 Broadway in Lower Manhattan. His track record also includes positions with CBRE and Tishman Speyer Properties.
