Entic, a company specialized in enterprise solutions for reducing utility waste and increasing net operating income, has announced the results of its partnership with Hilton. Following the collaboration, the global hospitality company has seen a 10 percent utility reduction across the portfolio of properties where it has deployed Entic. The partnership is part of Hilton’s strategy to achieve its “Travel with purpose” commitment to cut in half the environmental footprint of its brands by 2030.

Currently, Hilton’s portfolio includes 14 world-class brands comprising more than 5,300 properties. “We truly believe Hilton is writing the playbook in using enterprise-wide building analytics to deliver building efficiencies and sustainability on a corporate level,” Entic’s co-founder, Carlos Diaz, said in a prepared statement.

Entic’s platform collects real-time data and analyzes it, identifying inefficiencies that are wasting energy. Hilton’s operators leverage Entic’s analytics to ensure properties are operating at peak performance, without affecting guest comfort. “Through analytics, we have consistently been able to provide comprehensive data and powerful solutions to achieve peak performance and increase net asset value,” added Diaz.

“Hilton has used Entic’s analytics platform since 2014 to advance our sustainability initiatives,” said Randy Gaines, senior vice president operations & new project development, Hilton. “The platform has helped us consistently witness energy, carbon and cost savings across our portfolio.”
