The total number of employed people from March 2016 to March 2017 increased by 1.3 percent, or 1,890 people, while the total number of unemployed people decreased by 10.3 percent, or 832 people. Year-over-year, the largest difference for employment was once again in the farming, fishing and forestry occupations, with a rise of 13.7 percent. Following that, the next increases were for installation, maintenance and repair at 5.5 percent and natural resources, construction and maintenance at 2.9 percent. The overall unemployment rate has dropped 9.8 percent year-over-year.
