EMG Leases 16,000 Square Feet at BECO Towers

BECO Management, Inc., a Rockville-based commercial real estate company, has recently announced the signing of a new tenant at the BECO Towers, in Owings Mills. Since January 1, the company has leased more than 52,000 square feet of space at the property, reducing the total vacancy by 50 percent.

EMG is the latest tenant at BECO Towers. The engineering and environmental consulting services provider will move to Owings Mills from Hunt Valley. It will occupy 16,000 square feet of space at the new location. CBRE represented EMG in the transaction. Colliers International Represented BECO Management.

Panthera Technologies also recently signed a lease at BECO Towers for 3,700 square feet of space. The IT company will move in next month. And Home Point Financial will join it in July. The company will occupy 5,600 square feet of space. Other tenants include Insurance, Inc., The Vinca Group and others.

BECO Towers I & II are located just off of I-795 near Owings Mills’ new Metro Town Center. The complex offers more than 330,000 square feet of space, with amenities including a fitness center, conference facilities and more. BECO Management purchased the two office buildings in December 2012. Since then, the company has made significant investments in infrastructure, cosmetic, and amenity improvements to the properties.
