Emerald Hospitality Nabs Orlando Hilton Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East / UCF Area hotel represents Emerald Hospitality Associates Inc.'s 24th acquisition. The 122-key hotel underwent a $2 million renovation in 2014.

A partnership between Emerald Hospitality Associates Inc. and Nimbus Investment Fund LP, an independent affiliate of Emerald Hospitality, has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East / UCF Area hotel in Orlando, Fla. Emerald Hospitality Associates will also manage the property.

Located at 1959 N. Alafaya Trail, the 122-key hotel underwent a $2 million renovation back in 2014. The project included guestroom upgrades, as well as interior and exterior improvements. Emerald Hospitality intends to continue the upgrades with both outdoor and lobby enhancements.

“The Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East represents our ninth Hilton Garden Inn and brings our portfolio to 24 hotels,” said Edward Pavente, COO of Emerald Hospitality Associates, in a prepared statement. “This hotel represents the type of asset that both Emerald and Nimbus Investment Fund seek to acquire: high-quality, premium-branded hotels in thriving potential-filled markets”.

In June, four Hilton Garden Inn hotels opened in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York, adding more than 600 guestrooms to the brand’s portfolio.
