Drury Plaza Hotel Indianapolis Carmel Welcomes First Guests

Indianapolis–Drury Hotels Co. has opened the Drury Plaza Hotel Indianapolis Carmel, its third property in the Indianapolis area and the sixth in the state.

The new hotel features 303 guestrooms and seven meeting rooms totaling more than 7,000 square feet of flexible event space.

The property is located at 9625 North Meridian St., near I-465, about 12 miles from downtown Indianapolis. Guests have easy access to local attractions and businesses, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Center for the Performing Arts and the Parkwood Crossing office park.

Amenities include Wi-Fi, 24-hour business and fitness centers, an indoor/outdoor pool and whirlpool, parking, hot breakfast, soda and popcorn from 3 to 10 p.m., as well as a Kickback reception including beer, wine and appetizers. Guestrooms offer an LCD TV, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and coffee maker. Two room suites are also available, featuring a bedroom separated by a door from the living area, which also has a pull-out queen sofa sleeper. The hotel also offers rooms with mobility and hearing accessible features.
