Draper and Kramer Promotes Todd Bancroft to CEO

Bancroft joined the company as chief administrative officer & general counsel in 2012 and was promoted to COO two years later.

Draper and Kramer Inc. has several things to celebrate at its 125th anniversary next month. Following Forest Bailey’s stepping down from the president & CEO position in August, the firm has selected Todd Bancroft to succeed him. Bancroft has been the company’s COO & general counsel for the past four years and has occupied the CEO position temporarily since August. He will be in charge of continuing Draper and Kramer’s legacy and capitalize on new opportunities.

Bancroft joined the firm as chief administrative officer & general counsel in 2012 and was promoted to the COO position two years later. From this role, he oversaw operations across the company’s all four divisions—acquisitions and development, commercial finance, residential management and residential mortgages.

Prior to this, Bancroft worked at Bancroft, Richman & Goldberg, a Chicago law firm which he founded in 2010. Since 2013, he has also been serving as 3rd Ward Alderman for the City of St. Charles, Ill. Bancroft is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and holds a J.D. from the University of Florida. He is a licensed real estate managing broker in the state of Illinois and a licensed real estate broker in the state of Michigan.
