Divaris Completes 6 VA Leasing Transactions

130 Research Drive in Hampton, Va.

Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads office completed six leasing transactions totaling 16,309 square feet. One new tenant was signed, while five others renewed their contracts in locations throughout the Hampton Roads area.

The locations include:

• 130 Research Drive, Hampton
• 501 Village Ave., Yorktown
• 2029 S. Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach
• 283 Constitution Drive, Virginia Beach
• 2701 N. Mall Drive, Virginia Beach
• 4356 Bonney Road in Virginia Beach

At 130 Research Drive in Hampton, Va., Team Fishel, a provider of utility engineering, construction and network installation, signed a lease for 6,749 square feet. The location has exposure along Route 134 and Commander Shepard Boulevard, with plentiful dining options and retailers. Assistant Vice President Christopher Bendit of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, while Vice President Krista Costa with Associate Katherine Olson handled the transaction on behalf of the tenant.

The hair salon Style by Design renewed its 3,187-square-foot lease at 501 Village Ave. in Yorktown, Va. Vice President of leasing Melissa Martinovich of DRE’s Newport News office handled the agreement on behalf of the tenant. The property is within a commercially active area and transit is facilitated by the proximity to Victory Boulevard and Interstate 64.

Salem Crossing Shopping Center is managed by Divaris and located at 2029 S. Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach, Va. Levi Thomson, vice president & associate broker at DRE’s Virginia Beach office, represented the landlord in the renewal of 2,360 square feet for Zaki Orthodontics. The property is near Interstate 264 and the shops and restaurants along Lynnhaven Parkway.

Volkert, a private engineering and environmental consulting firm, recommitted to its 1,455-square-foot office space within One Columbus Center at 283 Constitution Drive in downtown Virginia Beach, Va. Michael Divaris, Vivian Turok and Krista Costa of DRE handled the transaction on behalf of the landlord. The office building is situated within a major commercial area, full of restaurants and retail as well as exposure along Virginia Beach Boulevard.

David Redmond, assistant vice president at DRE, represented the landlord in a transaction at 2701 N. Mall Drive in Virginia Beach, Va. Nails Only renewed its contract, comprising 1,530 square feet within Lynnhaven North Shopping Center. The fifth lease to be renewed is of a 1,028-square-foot office at 4356 Bonney Road in Virginia Beach, Va., by Hearing Services of Virginia. Katherine Olson and Kristen Costa represented the landlord.
