OrlandoDisney Springs is nearing completion on its largest expansion in history. The family vacation destination, which is part of Walt Disney World Resort, is doubling its dining, shopping and entertainment options with the addition of more than 30 high-profile tenants. Inspired by Florida’s waterfront towns, Disney Springs has four distinct outdoor neighborhoods: The Landing; Marketplace; West Side and Town Center, all interconnected by a flowing spring and a lakefront.

The Landing will include dining with waterfront views, while Town Center, which features a Spanish Colonial Revival style architecture, will add 28 new shops that are slated to open in phases starting May. Tenants will include Lacoste, Sephora, Volcom, a Coca-Cola Store, as well as several new dining venues such as D-Luxe Burger, a Disney owned and operated concept, Amorette’s Patisserie and Tablas Frontera, a Mexican-themed restaurant.

“Guests will enjoy an experience unlike any other in Central Florida with even more opportunities to shop in unique and distinctive stores and enjoy world-class dining. Disney Springs offers something for everyone and does it in a way that only Disney can. It truly is the place to be,” George Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort, said in a statement.

Additional enhancements include the Welcome Center greeting point around The Spring area in Town Center, Fulton’s Crab House restaurant in the Marketplace and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a venue that offers children Disney character costumes and photo rooms.

Disney Springs can be easily accessed from I-4 West via a new connection that leads directly to a convenient parking garage featuring smart technology that identifies open parking spaces.

Expanding from 75 to more than 150 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, Disney Springs has a positive economic impact on Central Florida through the creation of an estimated 1,200 construction jobs and nearly 4,000 operational roles.
