Boutique fitness chain CycleBar has expanded its national footprint by opening a new location in Livingston, N.J. The firm signed a 3,200-square-foot lease at The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle, a 93,000-square-foot, open-air retail center. The location kicked off a month-long series of events on Sept. 5, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Sept. 13.
High-end amenities
The new space marks CycleBar’s first Essex County location. The studio will feature full-body workouts, in addition to cycling shoes, filtered water, snacks, towels and showers with plush robes. The CycleTheatre will have tiers for 50 bikes, LED lighting, wide-screen graphics and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth.
The Eastman Cos. developed and currently manages the property. Located at 277 Eisenhower Pkwy., the asset is situated along Route 10, 22 miles from New York City. The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle is easily accessible from major highways, including the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike and routes 280, 80, 10, 24 and 78.
“Affordable fitness concepts are active players in today’s retail landscape,” Eastman Managing Partner Peter Schofel said in a prepared statement. “CycleBar is an exciting addition to The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle and we are pleased to bring their unique indoor cycling experience to health-conscious individuals who live and work in Livingston and the surrounding communities.”
The diverse tenant roster includes Choice Pet Supply, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Ike’s Bagel Café, Olive Garden, Wine Legend, M&T Bank and Zen Japanese Restaurant. Swim school franchise Goldfish Swim School will also open soon, recently leasing 8,100 square feet.
Another recently developed NJ shopping center, The Greenleaf at Union, recently signed leases with new tenants.
